DAY 01: Mumbai - Cochin: By Flight Flight Book the Tour

On your arrival at Cochin Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives. Transfer to the hotel. Relax in the evening. Ovrnight stay in Cochin.

Cochin: This is a part of Ernakulam district in southern state of Kerala. Cochin is now known as Kochi. Kochi was the centre of Indian spice trade for many centuries. Now, this is one of the major port cities on the west coast of India. This is a major trade hub even now. Kochi was the first European township in India when Portuguese settled in the 15th century. Today Kochi is the home for the Southern Naval Command of the Indian Navy and also a great ship building center.

St. Francis CSI Church, The oldest European church is in Kochi, making Kochi a center for Christianity.

Day 02: Cochin - Aleppey - Cochin

Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and proceed to the sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the following places:

Old Cochin Area: Go to Jewtown and you can find one of the oldest Jewish communities here. Visit its crown jewel, the paradesi synagogue. Also visit the International Pepper Exchange which is also located in Jewtown.

Chinese Fishing Nets: These nets are erected on teak wood and bamboo poles. These work on the principle of balance. It was earlier thought that the nets might have been introduced by the Chinese explorer Zheng He. But a recent research shows that these were introduced by Portuguese Casado settlers from Macau.

Other places of interest are Vasco Da Gama Square, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basillica, VOC Gate, Bastion Bunglow, Mattancherry Palace, etc.
Go to Aleppy.Its time to board your private houseboat !!! start your back water journey from Aleppy, also known as the Venice of the east. You will proceed to th Vamband lake, the largest vast expanse backwater body and will experience the beauty and serenity of God's own country!!! The local Kerala cuisines will be served to you. Enjoy the mouth watering dishes!
Lunch will be served on board houseboat. Don't miss the St. Mary's Church at Champakulam. Return to Aleppy and proceed to the hotel.

DAY 03: Cochin - Vagamon: By Road 175 km in 4 hr
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Go to Vagamon by road. Reach Vagamon and enjoy your stay amidst spice plantation. Relax in the evening. Overnight stay at Vagamon.

DAY 04: Vagamon - Cochin: By Road 175 km in 4 hr
Cochin - Delhi: By Flight Flight

Have your breakfast, visit the tea plantation and drive back to Cochin. Reach Cochin and proceed to the Airport for your onward destination.
