I know you will be as pleased as I am that we will play the Founders Cup in 2004, at a world class resort ..... "The Home of the Skins Game" The beautiful "Landmark Golf Club" in Palm Springs.

This will be a three day event! Friday, March 19. 2004, Friday will be a practice and get acquainted round (Although most of you know each other well), blind draw partners best ball. We’ll get together for wine and soft drinks in Brian and Cheryl’s room after golf on Friday (You are on your own for dinner). .

On Saturday the 20th. we will play team format. We will have dinner together on Saturday night.

Sunday, March 21st. will mark the start of individual matches., 3 points will be at stake, 1 for each nine and 1 for the 18 (ties will earn 1/2 point). Team Captains (Craig Armstrong and Mark Smeltzer) will decide the matches on Friday night, with the challengers (SOCAL) having first match choice, alternating thereafter through the ten matches.!

The Region with the most points, on Sunday afternoon, is the 2003 Founders Cup Champion and it’s Captain will retain the One of a kind Trophy, with the team names suitably engraved, until deposed! Each member of the winning team will receive wonderful trophies marking their accomplishment.

We will stay at The Golfer’s Hotel in Palm Desert The Holiday Inn Express, you will be responsible for your own hotel charges!,  Dinner for Saturday night will be split between attendees. Brian and Cheryl will pick up the tab for the wine and beer on Friday night.
