NORTHERN CALIFORNIA RETAINED THEIR TITLE! |
Very hot (98) but beautiful weather and the courses were in fantastic shape! In the blind draw for the get acquainted round on Friday, South regular qualifier Jack Stutz combined with the Founder Brian Yeowell to shoot and net 63 and win $108.00. The North played to a 3 point lead after the first day of team play! The South made a great comeback, to Aan overall tie on day 2. The final score was 22 1/2 vs 22 1/2. All in all, three wonderful days for everyone, we had a number of wives attending some played golf and the children seemed to enjoy watching their daddies come in on the 18th.
